Senior Accounting Manager - Business Unit | Fully Remote

District Partners has been engaged by a growing services organization to identify a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee the accounting and financial operations for a business unit within a larger, privately backed platform. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounting Manager or Controller seeking a highly visible role with broad ownership, direct leadership exposure, and a strong work-life balance. The business operates in a recurring revenue environment with straightforward accounting and a focus on operational execution rather than technical accounting complexity.

What You'll Do:

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting activities
• Oversee billing, cash management, and day-to-day accounting operations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and business performance analysis
• Drive process improvements and strengthen internal controls
• Partner with operational leadership to improve visibility into financial performance
• Manage and mentor accounting team members
• Support integration and continuous improvement initiatives within a growing organization

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience
• Prior experience in a Controller, Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or similar leadership role
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and operational accounting
• Experience working in service-based, recurring revenue, project-driven, or operational environments
• Ability to operate independently while partnering closely with business leaders
• CPA preferred but not required
